Target T-235, also known as Mesquite, was a Target discount department store located at Market East Shopping Center, 1629 North Town East Boulevard in Mesquite, Texas.[1] The store opened on July 23, 1986, followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on July 27.[2] It was one of the first two P86s in North Texas, and one of nine stores to open that day for a total of 235 Targets overall. The store closed on or around February 7, 2009, when it was replaced by Target T-2572.[3] The building was torn down for parking for the replacement store.[4]
