Target T-73, also known as Fondren, was a Target discount department store located at Fondren Southwest Village, 11110 Fondren Road in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on or around March 22, 1979,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on March 26.[3] It was the first Target to be neighborhood-oriented, rather than along a freeway.[4] The store closed on January 31, 1998.[5]
