Venture #1, also known as the Page Ave. Venture store, was a Venture discount department store located at 8901 Page Avenue in Overland, Missouri.[1] The 163,000 square feet (15,100 m2) store, the first in the Venture chain, opened on January 29, 1970,[2] followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on February 9.[3] The store ultimately closed on July 15, 1998.
