Venture #144, also known as Corpus Christi, was a Venture discount department store located at Venture Plaza, 4717 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 6, 1994, with a formal grand opening ceremony on November 13.[2] It was one of only two former Kmarts to become a Venture. The store closed on May 3, 1998.[3]
