Venture 168
Venture #168, also known as Elston, was a Venture discount department store located at 5033 North Elston Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.[1] The store opened on or around November 16, 1987,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on November 22.[3] The store closed on July 15, 1998.[4] Prior to Venture, the site was previously occupied by a Skil Corporation manufacturing plant.
