Venture #4, also known as Alton, was a Venture discount department store located at 2600 East Homer M. Adams Parkway in Alton, Illinois.[1] The store opened on July 12, 1971, with a formal grand opening ceremony on July 17.[2] The store would be remodeled in 1994,[3] and closed on July 15, 1998.[4]
