Venture #40, also known as Arlington Heights, was a Venture discount department store located at Northpoint Shopping Mall, 444 East Rand Road in Arlington Heights, Illinois.[1] The store opened on August 10, 1978,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on October 29.[3] The store closed around October 1989, when it was replaced by Venture 173.[4] It was the only Venture to be replaced by a newer location.
