Venture #72, also known as Irving, was a Venture discount department store located at Venture Shopping Center, 3200 West Irving Boulevard in Irving, Texas.[1] The store opened on July 19, 1993 as one of the first ten Venture stores in Texas, with a formal grand opening ceremony on July 25.[2] It was one of only two former Kmarts to become a Venture. The store closed on May 10, 1998,[3] and was torn down for The Home Depot 563.
