Venture #73, also known as Homewood, was a Venture discount department store located at Washington Park Plaza, 17920 Halsted Street in Homewood, Illinois.[1] The store opened on October 11, 1982, with a formal grand opening ceremony on October 17.[2] In 1994, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on October 16.[3] The store closed on July 15, 1998.[4]
