Woolco #6032 was a Woolco discount department store located at Towne & Country Shopping Center, 4401 South General Bruce Drive in Temple, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 8, 1967 as the first Woolco in Central Texas, the sixth Woolco in Texas, and the 68th Woolco overall.[2] The store ultimately closed on October 25, 1980 when it was replaced by Woolco 6445, making it the third Woolco to close in Texas, and the only Woolco to be replaced by a newer location.[3][4]
