Kmart #3475 was a Kmart discount department store located at Wendland Plaza, 1101 South Fort Hood Street in Killeen, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 9, 1978,[2] and was tied with Kmart 9215 for the 85th Kmart in Texas, In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 13.[3] The store ultimately closed on March 26, 2017, making it the last Kmart in Central Texas to close.[4][5]
