Kmart #3835 was a Kmart discount department store located at Texas City Bay, 3401 Palmer Highway in Texas City, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 14, 1997 as one of the first 24 Big Kmarts in Texas replacing Kmart 7411,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on November 16.[3] In 1999, a Kmart Solutions Kiosk would be added to the store.[4] The store closed on April 13, 2003.[5]
