Kmart #4024 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1402 Spencer Highway in South Houston, Texas. The store opened on November 8, 1962 as one of the first three Kmart's in Texas, along with Kmart 4013 and Kmart 4017.[1] In 1992, the store would be renovated and refurbished with a grand re-opening ceremony on May of that year.[2] The store closed on or around May 3, 1995 when it was replaced by Kmart 7751.[3][4]
