Kmart #4139 was a Kmart discount department store located at 9334 East R L Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. The store opened on September 22, 1966 as one of the first two Kmart's in the city of Dallas along with Kmart 4161, and would eventually be expanded from a pre-1972 full-size model, occupying the former Kmart Foods space. It would later convert to Big Kmart by the end of 1998. The store ultimately closed on June 2, 2002.[1][2]
