Kmart #4142 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1406 West Walnut Street in Garland, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 11, 1966 as one of two stores to open that day for a total of 140 Kmarts overall, and was tied for the 12th Kmart in Texas with Kmart 4133.[2] The store closed on or around April 28, 1996.[3][4]
