Kmart #4223 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1431 West 20th Street in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 16, 1967,[2] and closed on April 13, 2003.[3]
Renovations[edit | edit source]
- In 1992, the store would be expanded and remodeled from a pre-1972 full-size model Kmart, with a grand reopening ceremony on October 11.[4]
- In 1997, the store would be converted to one of the first 24 Big Kmarts in Texas, with a grand reopening ceremony on November 14.[5]
