Kmart #4267 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1405 West Pipeline Road in Hurst, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 31, 1968 as the third Kmart in Tarrant county.[2] It was also tied with Kmart 4300 for the eighth Kmart in the Dallas-Forth Worth area, and the 259th Kmart overall. In 1992, the store would expand into the former Kmart Foods and be remodeled from a pre-1972 full-size model Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on October 11.[3] In 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 16.[4] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[5][6]
