Kmart #4299 was a Kmart discount department store located at 11037 East Freeway in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 21, 1969 as the eighth Kmart in Harris County,[2] the ninth Kmart in the Houston area, the 25th Kmart in Texas, and one of two stores to open that day for a total of 300 Kmarts overall. The store closed on or around May 5, 1996.[3][4]
