Kmart #4307 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4717 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 10, 1970 as the first Kmart in South Texas, the 30th Kmart in Texas, and one of two stores to open that day for a total of 373 Kmarts overall.[2] In 1991, the store would be remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on July 21.[3] The store ultimately closed on January 1, 1994 when it was replaced by Kmart 4908.[4][5]
