Kmart #4466 was a Kmart discount department store located at 6020 North Mesa Street in El Paso, Texas. The store opened on November 18, 1971 as the third Kmart in El Paso, one of eight stores to open that day for a total of 484 Kmart's overall, and was tied with Kmart 4389 for the 41st Kmart in Texas.[1] In 1991, the store would be remodeled.[2] The store ultimately closed on August 11, 1999 when it was replaced by Kmart 9325.[3] It was the only store in El Paso to be replaced by a newer store.[4]
