Kmart #4707 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Shopping Center, 3701 North 23rd Street in McAllen, Texas.[1] The store opened on March 23, 1992,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on March 26,[3] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.[4] The store closed unexpectedly around April 2012, after an intense hailstorm on March 29 significantly damaged the store building.[5]
