Kmart #4707 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Shopping Center, 3701 North 23rd Street in McAllen, Texas.[1] The store opened on March 23, 1992,[1] with a formal grand opening ceremony on March 26.[2] The store closed unexpectedly around April 2012, after an intense hailstorm on March 29 significantly damaged the store building.[3]
Renovations[edit | edit source]
- In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.[4]
