Kmart #4948 was a Super Kmart Center discount department store located at 200 North New Road in Waco, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 7, 1994, with a formal grand opening ceremony on September 11.[2] It was the replacement store for Kmart 4012 and Kmart 7220. On June 7, 2001, the store would be the first business in Waco to offer self-checkouts.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4]
