Kmart #7012 was a Kmart discount department store located at K mart Shopping Center, 1033 Dixie Drive in Clute, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 16, 1973 as the 46th Kmart in Texas, and one of five stores to open that day for a total of 616 Kmarts overall.[2] The store ultimately closed on June 3, 1989, when it was replaced by Kmart 3732.[3] It was one of the first two Kmarts in Texas to be replaced by a newer store.[4]
