Kmart #7230 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 3316 Denton Highway in Haltom City, Texas. The store opened on June 19, 1980.[1] In October 1988, the store was expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart, occupying the former auto center area with the renovations completed on March 1989.[2] In spring 1998, the store was converted to Big Kmart,[3] with a grand re-opening on August 16 of that year.[4] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[5][6]
