The store opened on September 18, 1980.[1] In 1989, the store would expand into the former auto center and be remodeled from a Group 7 mini Kmart.[2] In 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 16 of that year.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4][5]
