Kmart #7270 was a Kmart discount department store located at Alta Mesa Village, 3540 Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 18, 1980.[2] In 1989, the store would expand into the former auto center and be remodeled from a Group 7 mini Kmart.[3] In 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 16.[4] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[5][6]
