Kmart #7297 was a Kmart discount department store located at 325 Mexico Boulevard in Brownsville, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 21, 1978 as the first Kmart in Brownsville,[2] the third Kmart in the Lower Rio Grande Valley area, and the 70th Kmart in Texas. The store ultimately closed on August 29, 1995.[3][4]
