Kmart #7309 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4520 West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas. The store opened on October 30, 1980.[1] Between 1989 and 1995, the store would be remodeled and expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart, and would later be converted to Big Kmart. In 2002, the store would have self-checkouts installed.[2] The store ultimately closed on January 28, 2018.[3] It was the last Big Kmart-branded store in Texas to close.[4]
