Kmart #9552 was a Kmart discount department store located at River Hills Mall, 200 Sidney Baker Street South in Kerrville, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 1, 1978 as the first Kmart in an indoor mall in Texas, the 81st Kmart in Texas, and the 1,482nd Kmart overall.[2] In 1985, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on June 27.[3] In 2000, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.[4] The store ultimately closed on May 19, 2002.[5][6]
