Kmart #9723 was a Kmart discount department store located at K mart Center, 1201 North Velasco Street in Angleton, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 20, 1981,[2] and ultimately closed on June 3, 1989 when it was replaced by Kmart 3732.[3] It was one of the first two Kmarts in Texas to be replaced by a newer store.[4]
