Welcome to Bluepages, the global historical directory that anyone can edit!

Our goal is to put together the histories of everyday places – local schools, parks, businesses, and roads, for example – in your neighborhood and all over the world.

As you may have already noticed, Bluepages runs on MediaWiki, the same software used by popular websites like Wikipedia – so if you're still about anything after reading the guide, Wikipedia may have a guide of its own that will help. If you're an experienced Wikipedia editor, you might want to read about some of the major differences between their site and ours. And please see if you can help with our to-do list of long-term goals for a vibrant Bluepages community.

Bluepages is hosted by Miraheze, a non-profit wiki hosting community. They're run by volunteers, and they would really appreciate your donations to help keep this website and thousands of others running smoothly.
