Our goal is to put together the histories of everyday places – local schools, parks, businesses, and all kinds of other things in your very own neighborhood, and all over the world! We currently have 417,369 articles, but almost all of them are automatically generated and need a human being like you to help improve them.

As you may have already noticed, Bluepages runs on MediaWiki, the same software used by popular websites like Wikipedia – so if you're still confused about anything after reading the guide, Wikipedia may have a guide of its own that will help. If you're an experienced Wikipedia editor, you might want to read about some of the major differences between their site and ours.

Bluepages is hosted by Miraheze, a non-profit wiki hosting community. They're run by volunteers, and they would really appreciate your donations to help keep this website and thousands of others running smoothly.
