McDonald's #68 is a McDonald's restaurant located at 8056 Sheridan Road, Kenosha, Wisconsin. The location includes a drive-through.[1]

The restaurant was the first franchise owned by Bernard Lopaty, who went on to open dozens of McDonald's franchises along with his children. In February 1957, Ray Kroc 
drove to Lopaty's home to collect a $1,500 franchise fee.[2][3] The location opened on June 4, 1957.[4][5] It was one of the first McDonald's locations in the state of Wisconsin, opening a few weeks after McDonald's #77 in Racine.
A car was accidentally driven into the building on June 20, 1973.[6] In 1974, the restaurant was remodeled in the chain's brick mansard style, and held a "Grand Re-Opening" event on August 31 of that year.[7]
The restaurant's original building closed on August 13, 2006, to be demolished and replaced. Following a request by the Kenosha city council, McDonald's chose a "residential" design for the new building that would replace it, intended to look like a single-family home and better fit in with its surroundings.[5] The new building opened on December 15, 2006.[8]
