A Mervyn's department store was located at Fremont Hub, 39125 Fremont Boulevard in Fremont, California. The store opened October 26, 1962 and closed October 13, 1985. Second Mervyn’s location. Expanded into a three-story building in 1965. Replaced by the NewPark Mall location in Newark. Fourth Mervyn's to close. Later Home Express, then Bed Bath & Beyond #218, now vacant[1]
