Mervyn's #196, also known as Sunrise Mall, was a Mervyn's department store located at Sunrise Mall, 5858 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 16, 1987 as the 36th Mervyn's in Texas, and the 189th Mervyn's in the nation.[2] The store ultimately closed on January 21, 2006.[3][4]
