Venture #141, also known as the Sam Houston Venture store, was a Venture discount department store located at 8300 West Sam Houston Parkway South in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on or around July 16, 1995, followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on July 23.[2] It was the 12th Venture in the Houston area, and was tied with Venture 146 for the 22nd Venture in Texas. The store closed on or around September 3, 1997.[3][4]
