Venture #79, also known as Elgin, was a Venture discount department store located at Fox River Plaza, 450 Airport Road in Elgin, Illinois.[1] The store opened on April 29, 1985, with a formal grand opening ceremony on May 5.[2] The store closed on July 15, 1998.[3]
