Walmart Discount Store #742 was a Walmart Discount Store discount department store located at Stonegate Center, 800 Plantation Drive in Kingsport, Tennessee. The store opened August 31, 1984 and closed August 21, 2001, when it was replaced by Walmart Supercenter #742.[1] Demolished. Now site of West Gate housing development.
