Kmart #3452 was a Kmart discount department store located at 4011 Alabama Street in El Paso, Texas. The store opened on October 12, 1978 as one of seven stores to open that day for a total of 1,461 Kmart's overall, and was tied with Kmart 3491 for the 71st Kmart in Texas.[1] In 1992, the store would be remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on July 26.[2] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.[3] In 2002, the store would have self-checkouts installed,[4] and ultimately closed on June 2 of that year.[5][6]
