|caption=November 12, 1997 (When new)}} Kmart #3909 was a Kmart discount department store located at 300 Meyerland Plaza Mall in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 14, 1997 as one of the first 24 Big Kmarts in Texas, with CEO Floyd Hall and Jaclyn Smith in attendance.[2] A formal grand opening ceremony was held on November 16.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4][5]
