Kmart #4012 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4324 West Waco Drive in Waco, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 23, 1965 as the eighth Kmart in Texas, and one of five stores to open that day for a total of 104 Kmarts overall. At 112,000 square feet, it was the largest in the chain at the time it opened, with a prototype layout known as the "112 series".[2] The store ultimately closed on September 3, 1994, when it was replaced by Kmart 4948.[3][4]
