Kmart #4287 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 5000 Twin City Highway in Groves, Texas. The store opened on July 23, 1970 as the 30th Kmart in Texas, and the 336th Kmart overall.[1] In 1992, the store would be remodeled with a grand re-opening ceremony on April 30.[2] The store ultimately closed on May 7, 1995 when it was replaced by Kmart 4959.[3]
