Kmart #4287 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 5000 Twin City Highway in Groves, Texas.[1] The store opened on July 23, 1970.[2] It was the 30th Kmart in Texas, and the 365th Kmart overall. In 1992, the store would be remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on April 30.[3] The store ultimately closed on May 7, 1995, when it was replaced by Kmart 4959.[4]
