Kmart #4300 was a Kmart discount department store located at K mart Plaza, 12100 Inwood Road in Dallas, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 31, 1968 as one of five stores to open that day for a total of 259 Kmarts overall.[2] It was also tied with Kmart 4267 for the eighth store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and the 23rd Kmart in Texas. The store ultimately closed on December 31, 1983, making it the third Kmart to close in Texas.[3] The building was torn down for Lowe's Home Improvement 515, PetSmart 622, and Storage USA.[4]
