Kmart #7270 was a Kmart discount department store located at Alta Mesa Village, 3540 Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. The store opened on September 18, 1980.[1] Between 1992 and 1995, the store would be expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart to have the garden center in front of the store. In 1998, the store was converted to Big Kmart with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 16 of that year.[2] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[3][4]
