Kmart #9280 was a Kmart discount department store located at 2350 North Mechanic Street in El Campo, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 8, 1979 as the 112th Kmart in Texas, and the 1,637th Kmart overall.[2] The store ultimately closed on July 2, 1983, making it the second Kmart in Texas to close.[3][4]
