Walmart Discount Store #1494 was a Walmart discount department store located at 4833 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 1, 1990,[2] and closed on or around October 25, 2011 when it was replaced by Walmart Supercenter 1494.[3] The building was torn down for Sam's Club 8267.
