Kmart #3452 was a Kmart discount department store located at 4011 Alabama Street in El Paso, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 12, 1978,[2] and was tied with Kmart 3491 for the 70th Kmart in Texas. In 1992, the store would be remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on July 26.[3] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.[4] In 2002, the store had self-checkouts installed,[5] and would ultimately close on June 2 of that year.[6][7]
