Kmart #4012 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4324 West Waco Drive in Waco, Texas. The store opened on September 23, 1965 as the eighth Kmart in Texas, and was one of five stores to open that day for a total of 80 Kmarts overall. At 112,000 square feet, it was the largest in the chain at the time it opened, with a prototype layout known as the "112 series".[1] The store ultimately closed on September 3, 1994 when it was replaced by Kmart 4948.[2][3]
