Kmart #4259 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4812 South Freeway in Fort Worth, Texas. The store opened on August 15, 1968 as the 242nd Kmart overall, and the first in the city of Fort Worth.[1] The store ultimately closed on August 29, 1995.[2] Prior to Kmart, the site was formally occupied by the Southside Drive-In Theatre.[3]
